Richard Curtis 'exploding schoolchildren' climate change video is withdrawn

Love Actually director Richard Curtis gave his permission for the film to be withdrawn
The gruesome four-minute video also shows X-Files actress Gillian Anderson and ex-footballer David Ginola being blown apart for not caring about climate change.
It appeared on climate change group 10:10's website after sparking controversy. and ends with the caption: 'Cut your Carbon by 10%. No pressure.'
Curtis, who also wrote Blackadder, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral, directed the video for the campaign as it nears its first anniversary.
Tottenham footballers Peter Crouch and Ledley King also make an appearance, though he is not blown up.
A spokesman for the campaign organisers said: 'We have discussed our decision with Richard and he is happy for the film to be withdrawn.
'We wanted to find a way to bring this critical issue back into the headlines while making people laugh.
'Many people found the resulting film extremely funny, but unfortunately some didn't and we sincerely apologise to anybody we have offended. As a result we've taken if off our website.'

The 10:10 campaign is designed to encourage people, business and government to cut their carbon emissions by 10 per cent.
It is an independent organisation founded by film director Franny Armstrong and backed by a range of organisations including Comic Relief.
The 10:10 campaign was launched in the UK in September 2009 and has already spread to 41 countries. In Britain, 91,000 people, 3,500 businesses and 4,000 councils, school and other organisations have signed up so far.
The coalition government has also committed to cut the government’s carbon emissions by 10% in a year, to help combat global warming. On October 10 - 10.10.10 - the campaign will hold a Global Day of Doing, involving 180 nations.

The eco-facists -- and BBC tax-payer funded eco-facist Richard Curtis -- jumped the shark big-time with this nasty little piece. Unfortunately for them, the public have tumbled their crooked game, so they are resorting to shock tactics.

What this actually shows is how our debased education system has produced a generation of morons who have no sense of decency nor any capacity to generate real satirical humour.
Considering Curtis was involved in Black Adder, perhaps he is actually a double-agent, intent on destroying the Global Warming movement.

Wow. I mean really, wow! I have seen some unmitigated tripe in my time, but this takes the biscuit and is truly frightening, as our favourite socialist crusader Mr Curtis is behind it.
If I had not known better, I would have thought this film was made by the camp who dares to have some question marks and doubts regarding the claims made by the man-made climate warming camp. It really is how the latter group behaves, they and they alone know the truth, anyone who disagrees or simply has some questions or doubts must be annihalated. Is this not a rather astonishing own goal?
When many people have lost their lives to terrorism in the last decade, by groups who feel non-submission must be punished with cold-blooded and cowardly death, this really is pathetic and just downright nasty. Who in their right mind could possibly have thought this was either funny or a good idea?

Of course Mr Curtis only have Holydays in Britain, and he doesn't promote his films abroad, all his food is source locally, he doesn't drive, and if he needs to travel to New York he swims across the atlantic ...Hypocritical patronising champaigne socialist git!!!

Eco-fascism must never be tolerated.
On the plus side, this is a massive own-goal by the eco-movement. This is a stark warning to us all. We nwo know what they are really thinking.
It's also interesting to note how much money that ad must have cost -- it must be at least a million. Where did the money come from? These NGOs, pressure groups and charities need much more investigation.
